- Kimono Workshop is subject to kimono availability. Please request kimono (or parts) and we will try to allocate you with a kimono. If you have a kimono or a yukata but not too sure how to wear it properly, our team will help you. Please understand if we cannot allocate you with a kimono you can still attend with your casual clothes. You are also welcome to attend tea ceremony section without attending kimono workshop.
- Kendo session and kimono workshop are open to women in principle. Tea ceremony is open to all genders.
- Tea ceremony will be served in a traditional format on a mat, with maccha tea and Japanese tea sweets. Chairs will be available for people with knee problem and cannot sit on a mat. Please provide any dietary requirements.
- You don’t need to be training in kendo to participate in kimono workshop or tea ceremony.
- Small child younger than 10 years old needs to be accompanied by a guardian.
