Ono-ha Itt\u014d-ry\u016b (\u5c0f\u91ce\u6d3e\u4e00\u5200\u6d41) coming from Itt\u014dsai Kagehisa’s original school is the oldest of the styles of Itt\u014d-ry\u016b . Along with the Hokushin branch It continues to be one of the most influential in traditional kenjutsu and had a major impact on the formation of modern Kendo Kata. This study was the first published outside of Japan and in English, covering a brief history, philosophical aspects and the technical elements that make up this classical school of swordsmanship. Of interest not only to those who may practice kendo but also enthusiasts of Martial Arts and ‘Things Japanese.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
